Social Contribution & Engagement with Local Communities

As a company that shares the wonders of nature through outdoor products, NANGA believes that engaging with the outdoors is the starting point for everything it creates. We pursue long-lasting quality, making full use of every material and seeing it through to the very end of its useful life. We approach each product with care, considering not only when and how it will be used, but also the landscapes and experiences that lie beyond. Guided by this philosophy, NANGA has built its business around manufacturing in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture. By maintaining its sewing facilities, production management, administrative functions, and shipping operations locally, the company continues to create employment opportunities while remaining deeply rooted in the community. We also actively recruit both new graduates and experienced professionals, creating opportunities for the next generation to take part in manufacturing in Maibara. As a company rooted in the region, NANGA remains committed to sustainable manufacturing while carrying Japan's sewing expertise and manufacturing culture into the future.

Human Rights & Diversity

We respect the human rights of all people and strive to create a workplace that values diversity. Through our participation in My Declaration of Human Rights, a nationwide initiative led by Japan’s Ministry of Justice, we work to prevent harassment, promote understanding of diverse perspectives, and create a workplace where everyone feels safe and secure.

Creating a Supportive and Flexible Workplace

As a company that supports employees in balancing work and family life, NANGA has been recognized with the Kurumin Certification by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. By encouraging the use of parental leave and introducing flexible working arrangements, we are working to create an environment where employees can continue working through different stages of life.
